# Corruption

#### Staff Notification Required

Government corruption **is permitted** only if:

* It was **disclosed in your original character application**, **or**
* You have **notified staff via a ticket** prior to engaging in corrupt activity.

#### RP Purpose Only

Corruption must be used **as a narrative tool** to facilitate **engaging and immersive roleplay**. It should **enhance character development** and the depth of county politics/criminal interaction—not simply offer unfair advantages.

#### Do Not Neglect Duties

Corruption **must not interfere** with the **core responsibilities** of your government role. Your character is still expected to **perform their official duties** in a functional, believable manner.
