# Hostage Rules

#### Organic Roleplay Only

All hostage situations must arise **organically through in-character interactions**. **Planning must be done in-county** — no OOC coordination is allowed.

#### No Taking On-Duty Law or Medical Staff

**On-duty Lawmen or Doctors may not be taken hostage** during robberies or other criminal events. This ensures fair balance and preserves the role integrity of essential services.

#### No Willing or Paid-Off Hostages

**Hostages must be genuine victims**, not collaborators. **Willing or paid-off hostages are strictly prohibited** and may lead to disciplinary action

#### Hostages Are Optional in Robberies

Hostages are **not required** to attempt any type of robbery. However, they are **encouraged for enhancing RP depth and negotiation scenarios**

#### Proper Restraint Required

A character can only be considered a hostage if they are **bound, restrained, or otherwise physically detained** in a realistic and roleplayed manner.
