Moonshine Robbery Rules (Player vs. Player)
Moonshine runs are high-risk, high-reward — and with that comes the potential for robbery by other players. To ensure fairness and immersion, the following rules must be followed during any moonshine-
🚧 1. Blockades Must Be Realistic and Visible
Robbers must set up a clear and immersive blockade (e.g., carts, logs, wagons, NPC wagons, or visible weapon hold-up).
You cannot initiate a robbery without physically blocking the road or intercepting the wagon with proper intent.
Random drive-by ambushes without a blockade or effort to stop the wagon are considered failRP.
🔫 2. Intent to Rob Must Be Clear
Robbers must give clear verbal commands (e.g., “Stop the wagon!” or “Off the wagon, hands up!”).
Ambushing in total silence and immediately shooting the driver is not allowed unless the driver clearly refuses to comply and escalates.
🧍 3. Wagon Drivers Must Attempt to Comply
If you're stopped by a valid blockade, you are expected to attempt compliance. You cannot simply mow down the robbers with your horse or wagon.
Running over robbers without attempting to roleplay or acknowledge the stop is considered VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) and is not allowed.
You may flee if you believe there's a clear IC opportunity to do so (e.g., they hesitated, you had a head start, etc.), but it should be realistic and justified.
🧑🤝🧑 4. Rule of 5 Applies
A maximum of 5 players can be involved per side (5 robbers vs. 5 defenders).
You may not bring more than 5 people total to support or defend the moonshine run.
Violating the Rule of 5 will lead to admin action against all involved parties.
🕊️ 5. Keep It Fair and Roleplay-Driven
Do not chain rob the same player or group repeatedly. Allow players time to regroup and enjoy their experience.
Looting the wagon or stealing moonshine is allowed, but excessively toxic behavior, such as griefing or gloating OOC, is not tolerated.
Execution of players is only allowed if the RP escalates organically and meets the server’s kill permissions.
🚫 6. Prohibited Actions
No random attacks or RDM.
No robbing AFK or visibly crashed players.
No abusing poor server sync or desync for ambush advantage.
No OOC coordination to get around Rule of 5 or server limits.
✅ Note: All robberies must be roleplay-first. If you're just looking for PvP, this is not the setting for it. Think like an outlaw, not a deathmatch server player.
