Character Creation & Customization

Age Requirement

All characters must be 18 years or older in-character.

Timeline & Lore Accuracy

Character backstories must fit the 1870 setting of Lost Souls Haven. Avoid any use of modern language, technology, or cultural references that wouldn’t exist in the time period.

Character Knowledge

New characters may not have prior knowledge of Sweetwater County, its factions, or any characters from before the last server wipe. All knowledge must be earned in-character through roleplay and interaction.

🗓️ Last Server Wipe: April 14, 2025

Naming Conventions

Names must be:

  • Authentic to the time period

  • Unique within the server

Not allowed:

  • Names from history, pop culture, movies, books, or TV

  • Joke names, overly modern names, or meme references

Realistic Hair & Beard Colors

All hair and beard colors must be natural and appropriate to the 1870s.

The following are not allowed:

  • Bright or unnatural colors (blue, pink, green, purple, etc.)

  • Modern-dyed or saturated tones

Staff may request changes if your character’s appearance breaks immersion.

Realistic Clothing Colors

Clothing should reflect the rugged, practical fashion of 1870s frontier life.

Avoid neon, bright, or overly modern colors (hot pinks, bright purples, electric blues).

If your outfit looks futuristic or out of place, it probably is—staff may ask for a change.

Horses, Hair, and Components

Horse coats, manes, tails, and cosmetic components must use natural, era-appropriate colors.

The following are not allowed:

  • Neon or fantasy-inspired colors

  • Highly saturated or unrealistic combinations

Acceptable horse colors include bays, dapples, roans, and other natural tones.

When in doubt, choose muted, natural-looking colors. Staff may ask you to adjust anything that breaks immersion.
